Delete account

This website has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to or delete here. The Kuchela app is not on the App Store or Google Play yet. This page says how deleting an account is designed to work in the app, and how to have something you sent through this website deleted.

In the app

Once the app launches, you will delete your account yourself:

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Tap “Delete my account”.
  3. Read the message, which says: “This removes your conversations, your choices and your companion’s name from Sakha. It cannot be undone.” Then tap “Delete”.
  4. The app tells you “Your account has been deleted.” and takes you back to the start.

Deleting your account is a hard delete. It is completed within 7 days, and that includes the copies held in backups as they are rotated out.

It is free on every plan.

Before you delete

You can export your data first. If you would rather keep your account, you can delete only what Sakha remembers about you, or only your conversation history.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, so if you have one, cancel it there before you delete your account, or the charges go on. If you have one that would renew, the app says so before you delete, with a link to manage it.

Without the app

If you can't use the app, because you have removed it or no longer have the phone, write to hi@ideaye.com and tell us the email address you sign in with. We will write to that address to make sure the request is yours. Once you reply, we delete your account as the app does, and it is completed within 7 days.

If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, we know your account only by the private address Apple made for it, so we can't find it from yours. Please delete it in the app on your iPhone instead.

A message you sent through this website

The “What do you tell God?” form on our home page keeps what you send. To have a message deleted, write to hi@ideaye.com. We keep no email address with a message, so tell us the name you used and a few words from what you wrote, and we will find it and delete it.
